There were several competitions and activities held over the weekend, from the chili eating and pool competitions, to RUXLAN competitions such as the Capture the Flag, Exploit Development competition, and Reverse Engineering competition.
A hardcover release of Phrack magazine was held at RUXCON 2004, and all attendees received a free copy.
